Eleven years after the original, the latest installment of Myst arrives. Bloomberg Boot Camp, a report on today's technology. With a ground breaking story line and graphics, Myst became a top selling computer game in 1993. Ubisoft hopes Myst IV Revelation generates the same kind of enthusiasm. Game producer Genevieve Lord….

"The game has taken three years to be developed. It's a great, classic adventure game. It's in fact, a family saga. So you go to fabulously beautiful worlds, solving puzzles and interfacing with people. Also the sound is quite extraordinary, so it makes for quite an immersive experience."

The sound includes music created by Peter Gabriel… (sound) Gabriel is also the voice of one of the characters in the game. Unlike some of the other best selling titles today that allow people to play together online, Myst IV Revelation is single player only. The producer likens it to being immersed in a book…

"I would say that just the same way when you go in a book store, you have all kinds of different kinds of books, the same thing with games. And one is definitely a kind of video game that calls for exploring and figuring out what has happened. It's more like a mystery novel."
