Digging up information for your planned vacation. Which movies to see or restaurants to go to. With the holidays coming, you might be looking at reviews for that latest digital camera or prices at various online retailers. "i-Lighter is truly, the metaphor is perfect. It's the yellow marker for the Web. It's a very, very simple, intuitive tool that lets users of all levels of expertise to save the information they want, find it again when they want it and to use it and to share it. When you download i-Lighter it imbeds directly into the browser, becomes part of IE or Firefox. You want to save something, you click on the menu, click on start highlighting."

And because the data is stored on i-Lighter's servers….you can get to it from any Internet connected PC and soon from smartphones as well. I-Lighter is free….at ilighter.com. The company plans to make money ….much like Google or Yahoo…. through targeted ads. About privacy, Hoffman says….
