It's the season of the smarthphone. Bloomberg Boot Camp, a report on today's technology. It may not make decision making simple for consumers, but they sure have a lot more choices in buying smartphones this holiday season. The devices can let you browse the Web, send and receive email, take pictures, watch videos....and sync your files with personal computers. Apple's 3G iPhone has vaulted over the competition....but companies like Research in Motion, Samsung, HTC and LG aren't exactly standing still. They've been shipping new models out to wireless carriers like never before. AT&T, which still has exclusive rights to the iPhone in the U.S., also has the BlackBerry Bold, the Samsung Epix the HTC Fuze and the LG Incite smartphones. The company's Chris Senst...

"We have the broadest portfolio in the industry. And we're fortunate enough to have the two hottest mobile products for the holiday season, the Apple iPhone 3G and the BlackBerry Bold product."

The Samsung Epix, the HTC Fuze and the LG Incite are all Windows Mobile devices. What you'll need to decide is whether you want a touch screen device, one with a full keyboard....or perhaps...both....

"All of our stores have live devices, so the customer can certainly use the device in store to help them make their decision. And we also do have a thirty day trial period."
