Boot Camp feature for Thursday, July 16, 2009

Music everywhere. More deals for Rhapsody. I'm Fred Fishkin with technology Boot Camp, a report on gadgets and gear. The Rhapsody music service... gives subscribers access to millions of songs through networked PCs and an ever growing variety of devices...from stereo receivers to Tivos. Now Vizio has announced a line of TVs due out soon...that can connect to the Rhapsody service as well. Drew Denbo is general manager of business development for Rhapsody America...

"These are fully network enabled TVs. So it will give you the ability to navigate the entire Rhapsody catalog, which by the time the TVs come out will be about eight million songs. You'll be able to navigate and play any song you want on demand. It literally turns the TV into a jukebox."

Rhapsody subscriptions are priced at 12.99 a month. Rhapsody to Go, which works with portable devices...but sadly...not iPods...is two dollars more. You can find us with archives, interviews and more...at BootCamp.com. I'm Fred Fishkin.
