Samsung's quest to become the leader in digital cameras. I'm Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. With new 2010 models, Samsung is aiming to continue growing its digital camera market share. It is adding to the line of dual view cameras...that include LCD screens in the front as well as the back. Another new model just announced...the HZ35W... features a fifteen times optical zoom and built in GPS in a 12 megapixel point and shoot. And then, there's the NX-10....which packs SLR features into a compact sized camera. Senior VP Reid Sullivan...
"The NX-10 is a mirror-less camera with interchangeable lenses that gives the consumer great performance, the performance of a professional experience."
Samsung is planning a line of NX lenses, but will also sell an adaptor that will allow Pentax mount lenses to be used on the camera. You can find us with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com. I'm Fred Fishkin.
