Boot Camp feature for Monday, September 20, 2010

Better quality videos in the latest Flip camcorders. I'm Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. You see them all over the place. More than five million of those little Flip camcorders have been sold. Now, the company, owned by Cisco Systems, is out with a whole new line up with some significant improvements to video quality. Senior brand manager Eliza Sheffield....says an always on image stabilization feature is being built in...

"The second piece to the next generation video quality is we're offering video that's double the frame rate of our current offering. Instead of being 30 frames per second, you'll be getting 60 frames per second. And really the combination of that always on, built in image stabilization and double the frame rate, make for videos that just look truly stunning under any condition."

The new Ultra HD model will two hours of video capacity is priced at 200 dollars. You can find more info at theflip.com. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I'm Fred Fishkin.
