EA's Create offers challenges and puzzles

Boot Camp feature for Thursday, December 9, 2010

For fans of challenges and puzzles,  a new video game from Electronic Arts is ready to pull you in.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   Create is the title of a new game from EA that will keep your mind as busy as your thumbs.   Finding solutions and building contraptions is refreshing for players of all ages.   Game designer Emily Newton Dunn…

“There are fourteen levels, a hundred and forty challenges in total.  We call them challenges rather than puzzles because challenges are more open ended.  And this game is all about creativity, experimentation, tinkering, exploring things and expressing yourself in a creative way.”

The game is available for PCs, Macs and game consoles and can take advantage of the new Move controllers on the Playstation 3.    Create was developed by EA’s Bright Light studio in the UK.   You can find us with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
