Boot Camp feature for Wednesday, January 20, 1999

Guitar instructions from your PC. I'm Fred Fishkin with Bootcamp, a report on computers and technology. "The way it works is that as a person is going step by step through the lessons, there's full motion video, with an onscreen teacher, so that you can repeat things over and over again and see reflected onscreen how to apply certain techniques to what you're trying to learn. And along the way, there's a built in tuner so that you can tune up your guitar very quickly. There's also some interactiveness with record and playback. (sound)Featuring some well known artists like Peter Frampton. And the software lets you play along...

Guitar Songs sells for under thirty dollars. You can find more information at emedia.org
