More reasons to look at the Color Nook

More reasons to take a look at the Color Nook.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.    The Nook Color from Barnes and Noble has won lots of fans as a great color screen eReader.   But an update has brought more tablet functions, including apps, to it that make it even more attractive.   Barnes and Noble Digital President Jamie Iannone…

“There’s just a ton of applications to bring to the platform.  That’s probably the biggest and most exciting change.   But we also announced an email client.  So now you have a full featured email client on there.  You can use your Yahoo, Gmail or frankly any IMAP or POP account you can put on there and have up to six email accounts.   We also announced that we’re adding Flash video to the Web browsing experience.”

With the Android update, that also includes a calendar and its under 250 dollar price, the Nook Color is one of the best tech bargains on the market.     You can find us with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com.  I’m Fred Fishkin.
