Popular electronic game Loopz goes portable

Boot Camp feature for Thursday, May 19, 2011

A popular electronic memory game goes portable.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.    The big toy maker Mattel had a hit on its hands last year with Loopz, an electronic memory game that’s challenging for all ages.   Now it’s going portable.   Mattel’s Margaux Vega…

“It’s an electronic game, it’s similar to kind of like a Simon Says where you follow the lights and you react with movements.  It also has music and it has various forms of play.   And this version is a little bit smaller and more compact.  So easy for on the go play and summer travel.”

Loopz M3 arrives this month for about twenty dollars.   For kids in the car, it’s a brain healthy alternative to DVDs or video games.   Two at a time can play and the recommended age is 7 and up.  You can find us with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
