A longer range for WiFi.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   If you’ve got areas of your home or office where it’s hard to receive signals from a WiFi router,  CCrane is out with what it calls the Super USB WiFi Antenna 3.   It’s actually more than an antenna, it has a wireless N radio built in.    CCrane President Bob Crane…

“It’s actually pretty simple.   You can use one USB port and plug it in and you download the easy software.   If you’re having a little trouble, you need more power, it actually has a second plug that you can plug in for a little bit more power.   It’s all FCC approved.   And you get get a WiFi signal up to a mile away.  So that’s pretty spectacular.”

The Super USB WiFi Antenna 3 sells for about 110 dollars.   There’s more info at CCrane.com.   You can find us with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
