Keeping your life in sync. Latest from SugarSync.

Boot Camp feature for Monday, October 3, 2011

Keeping your life in sync.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   SugarSync is a service designed to simplify life in the digital age.   Files you  use on your desktop computer are automatically copied onto your notebook and more.   It works with PCs, Macs, and smartphones.   For instance, the company has added autosync for Android devices.  Director of corporate communications Robb Henshaw

“And what autosync does is, it enables you to, without having to open up the SugarSync application, you can just take photos on your native Android camera and they’re automatically saved back to the cloud and synced down to the devices that you tell it to go to.  So no longer do you have to tether your device when you get home and physically plug it into your computer to get all of your photos taken off your Android device.”

Also new is text editing on Android and Apple iOS devices.   A five gigabyte version of SugarSync is free.  30 gigabytes is fifty dollars a year.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
