Have you started reading your magazines on a tablet yet? I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. If you’re getting tired of bunding up old magazines for recycling pick ups, the idea of reading them on a tablet or computer may be pretty appealing. One of the pioneers in the business of bringing publications into the digital world has been Zinio, where chief marketing officer Jeanniey Mullen says…
“What we’ve been focusing on at Zinio is making every magazine available on every device. Not only organizing it, but making it easy to share with friends, family or others. Bookmark, clipping, tagging and just being able to enjoy what you love whenever you are interested.”
There are more than 55 hundred titles now available through Zinio. Publishers, unfortunately, have differing policies about whether or not a print subscription entitles you to the digital version at no additional charge. You can find us with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
