The latest very connected music system from Pure

Boot Camp feature for Thursday, December 13, 2012

The latest very connected music system from Pure.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.    It’s an oval shaped, nicely styled device with a color touch screen in the center.  And the Sensia Connect 200D from Pure produces impressive sound for its size.   But the real story here is connectivity.  With built in WiFi, the Sensia can play Internet radio stations along with music from computers or servers on your home network.  It can play from USB flash drives or record onto those drives.  And it can play wirelessly from iPhones,  iPads and Android devices.  Director of U.S. Sales Noam Meppen…

“If you have your Sensia and your smartphone or tablet connected to the same WiFi network and you’re listening to music through the Pure Connect app, you can pull up that content and send it wirelessly.”

Unlike Apple’s AirPlay, it works with Android too.  There’s more info at Pure.com.  You can find us with archives, giveaways and more at BootCamp.com.  I’m Fred Fishkin.
