A word game app for kids and parents. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. Fingerprint, which has created an online learning and play network, is out with an app designed to let kids and parents or even grandparents play together . It’s called the Flying Alphabetinis. Fingerprint founder and CEO Nancy MacIntyre….
“The Flying Alphabetinis are a band of alphabetic acrobats. So each one of the members of the band has his own letter, so there’s an A, there’s a Z, etcetera, they do a series of different stunts that actually manipulate the board. Think 1920s circus meets word scramble.”
Kids typically take the first turn…
“And the idea is to find the words as quickly as possible, get as many words in the time allowed as possible and then send it off to your opponent. And they do the same thing.”
The basic game is free and available for Apple devices. Soon for Android too. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
