Panasonic's next generation of TVs arriving

Boot Camp feature for Friday, April 26, 2013

The next generation of top notch TVs from Panasonic is arriving.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   Panasonic’s new LCD and plasma TVs arrive this spring and the emphasis, once again, is on impressive picture quality.   Also new this year on the connectivity side in some models is a feature called My Home Screen that lets you set up personal profiles.   Product Manager Michelle Redmond…

“In a home environment, ideally, mom would have one, dad would have one and the kids would have one.  And if you have more than one kid and you want to make sure that you limit their exposure to some of the content out there, you can set up one profile for the kids to share.  And that definitely will be available.”

While sales of LCD models make up a growing piece of Panasonic’s TV business, some plasma screens  continue to attract lots of attention and awards for the quality they deliver at affordable prices.   You can find more info at Panasonic.com.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
