More entries into the streaming media player category.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a Report on gadgets and gear.   Streaming media players have been made popular by companies like Roku and Boxee and the big consumer electronics companies have taken notice.   Panasonic is out with two new entrants in the category.   Product Manager Troy Livingston…

“We have two new exciting products.  As we know, younger consumers in the marketplace, they are rapidly adapting streaming products.  So it’s a way of lifestyle that they’ve adjusted to.  So we have two new offerings, the MST 60 and the MS 10 streaming media players.”

They have built in WiFi, connect to services like Netflix and Hulu + and can connect to mobile phones that are Miracast capable as well.   The MST 60 higher end model also supports 3D video and sells for about a hundred dollars.  You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
