Shooting mobile video together: CrowdFlik

Boot Camp feature for Monday, July 22, 2013

An app to let groups of people shoot video together.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   CrowdFlik is the name of a new app for iOS and soon for Android designed, says CEO Chris Hamer, for what he calls crowd source video….

“Maybe the easiest use case is, let’s say you’re going to a wedding or a kid’s baseball game or a concert even.  And today almost everybody is using their smartphones to video the event.  What CrowdFlik does is based on location and time, it synchronizes as many streams of video …as people use the app…to capture the video, synchronizes the video, puts it through our very simple to use, easy to learn, no manuals required, edit and share platform and allows you to create and share as many edits from the crowd sourced content as you wish.”

The video compositions live in the cloud.    The app again is Crowd Flik…spelled with a K.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
