Olloclip's new telephoto lens for iPhone

Boot Camp feature for Thursday, July 25, 2013

Olloclip’s Telephoto Lens for the iPhone.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.     If you love using the iPhone as your camera and you’re serious about photography,  there’s some news from the folks at olloclip.  They’ve been making a versatile three in one wide angle, panorama and fisheye clip on lens for the iPhone… and now they have a version that brings you closer.   CEO Patrick O’Neill…

“The telephoto lens also has a circular polarizer so that you can block light coming from different directions.  The telephoto lens gives you two times magnification so when you put it on you get twice as close as you are.  So if you’re a hundred feet away it would be as though you were fifty feet away with the normal iPhone camera.”

It’s arriving at Apple stores and some other retailers at about a hundred dollars.   Also new is the olloclip Quick Flip case.   You can find more info at olloclip.com.   You can find us with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com.  I’m Fred Fishkin.
