Boot Camp feature for Thursday, August 8, 2013

More ways to expand storage for your wireless devices.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.  If you have a smartphone or tablet that doesn’t have a memory expansion card slot…there are still ways to carry around all of those photos, videos and music files.   The latest solutions are from SanDisk.  It has announced the Connect Wireless Media Drive and Connect Flash Drive.   Director of Product Marketing Hagai Heshes…

“And the Wireless Media Drive is really targeted at tech enthusiasts who are interested in watching their movies and videos on their tablets, who have collections of videos, of movies, of music.  And the cool thing about the Wireless Media Drive is that it also has an SD expansion slot.”

And that’s on top of the 32 or 64 gigabytes built in.   Pricing starts at 79 dollars.  The Connect Wireless Flash Drive, with 16 or 32 gigabytes starts at 59 dollars. (correction: $49)     You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
