EA Sports readies FIFA 14. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. The latest version of the FIFA soccer video game franchise from Electronic Arts arrives next month adding new features to bring even more realism to the title. So what’s new? Game producer Santiago Jaramillo….
“Well every year we want to make sure that the game is the best offer and has the best set of features that we’ve ever made and this year we’re focusing a lot on the fundamentals of game play. We have a feature called peer shot , which is really to heighten and enhance the emotion of scoring. So we have re-done the physics so the flight of the ball is completely accurate to what happens in real life. We’ve re-done the way players approach the ball, the animations that they use to give you a lot more variety and types of shots and a lot more visual feedback when you shoot.”
FIFA 14 arrives on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on September 24th. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
