TheQ Camera designed for social sharing

Boot Camp feature for Friday, September 6, 2013

A different kind of camera called The Q.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   It will come in a variety of colors, is waterproof, has a built in ring flash and shoots 5 megapixel photos.   CEO Steven Christensen says TheQ Camera is really designed for uploading to social networks.   So what will lure consumers to it instead of using the cameras in smartphones?

“The smartphone you have today is very great in the daytime, daylight.  But at night time, you don’t really get great photos.  So that’s one of the reasons why we decided to have a ring flash, which we call the Q Light as part of the key features of the camera.  Another great feature of the camera is that we have built in 3G connectivity that allows you to take a photo and instantly share it on one of the chosen networks that we have.”

There’s more info at TheQCamera.com.   The price…about 200 dollars.  You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
