Sony’s new clip on smartphone cameras. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. There have been add on lenses for smartphone cameras….but what Sony is doing with its new QX line…is replacing the camera in the phone altogether. The QX10 and higher end QX100…are full fledged cameras with optical zoom capability…and memory card slots. But they clip onto smartphones and use apps for a viewfinder and controls.
