What's new in Nero 2014

Boot Camp feature for Friday, September 27, 2013

What’s new in Nero 2014.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.    Nero is a long time maker of software designed to help you take your photos, videos and music and create DVDs or CDs.   It still does that, but with the 2014 editions,  much of the focus is on better tools to let you share that content on social networks, mobile devices and TVs.   Nero’s Stefano Miotto….

“There’s one click, for example,  type of applications that will allow you to transfer content from a DVD, for example, from a disc to maybe your free storage solution of choice, which could be Google Drive, it could be Sky Drive, it could be Drop Box.  But it could also be an attached tablet or maybe a smartphone.”

The standard version of Nero 2014 for Windows sells for about a hundred dollars.   The Platinum version…which includes Blu-ray capability, is forty dollars more.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
