A new kind of connected toy for kids. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. It’s called Toymail. A line of toys designed for young children to let them communicate with parents, grandparents and more. How? Co-founder Gauri Nanda….
“The idea is you can pick up your phone from anywhere in the world and send a message through our app. And the message will get sent to your kids’ toys and the toys will then speak them back.”
It can be your voice or you can choose from a variety of funny voices…and children can send replies too….
“So there’s two buttons. One is a playback button to play an incoming message and the second button is a reply button. So they would just press the button and it will start recording and then send it off to you.”
The price…about 60 dollars. There’s more info at Toymail.co. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
