TEC enabled fashion adds urban design: Scottevest

Boot Camp feature for Thursday, March 20, 2014

Need to carry around a tablet, a smartphone and maybe Google Glass?  The latest solutions from Scottevest.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.    Scottevest founder Scott Jordan has been making what he calls TEC enabled clothing since before Apple was making iPods.    The idea has been to make clothing with pockets and wire channels that making carrying your devices comfortable and stylish.   Now the company is a new collaboration…

“What I’m wearing right now is a microfleece hoodie with a dazzle camouflage print that we collaborated with a very famous urban street wear designer by the name of Jeff Staple.  And he has retail stores here in New York City and it’s a completely different demographic from our own.”

It’s a very limited edition.  There’s also a new Brad Thor Alpha Jacket on the way.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
