Adobe brings Lightroom to the iPad

Boot Camp feature for Thursday, May 1, 2014

Adobe brings Lightroom to the iPad.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.     Lightroom has become a favorite application for photographers of all kinds.   It lets you organize, edit and share images.   And now…there’s a mobile version available to Adobe’s Creative Cloud subscribers.   Product Manager Sharad Mangalick…

“So kind of the general idea is, you know I keep all of my original RAW files on my desktop and I’ve got tons of them.   But when I’m out on the go,  maybe I’m on vacation or I’m on a train, I want to still be able to engage with my photos.  I want to organize them, I want to make some basic adjustments using the same develop tools that I’m used to on the desktop.  And when I get back home I want all of those changes to be reflected in my Lightroom catalog.”

It automatically uses smaller file sizes too on the iPad to save precious storage space.   Creative Cloud can cost as little as ten dollars a month.  You can find us at BootCamp.com.  I’m Fred Fishkin.
