Mobile communication & collaboration with Zula

Boot Camp feature for Monday, July 21, 2014

Got a group?   A new mobile communications tool.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   It’s called Zula…a new app designed to simply communication and collaboration for groups of all kinds…from businesses to sports teams for kids or family get togethers.  One of the creators is Internet communications pioneer Jeff Pulver…

“Zula is our solution to a problem which we’ve seen happen over time, that email broke, in that when you communicate with somebody, some people are sharing files from one platform, then another.  And it’s just very hard to have a place where you can go to where you can very easily bring a group of people together and have that group speak on the phone together if they want to, share a file if they want to, schedule an event, share a photograph and just maintain the conversation.”

The app…spelled Z U L A is free…at least for now and is available on Android and iOS platforms.   A Web version is in the works.  You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
