Plantronics puts super battery life in new BackBeat Pro Bluetooth headphones

Boot Camp feature for Wednesday, November 5, 2014

Lightweight, comfortable, Bluetooth headphones from Plantronics.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   Plantronics has been in the business of making audio and communications equipment for more than half a century.   And the company is continuing to innovate. The new Backbeat Pro over the ear Bluetooth headphones are designed for comfort and impressive sound.   And says consumer marketing director Lori Langona, they are designed to keep playing for as long as 24 hours on a charge…

“We understand that battery life is a pain point for a lot of consumers.  And they don’t want to be on a flight or working remotely and have your battery go down.  So we really worked hard and designed this product to get you that long 24 hour battery life.”

And if the battery does run down, the Backbeat Pro can be used with a cord.   It can be set up to connect to two different Bluetooth devices.   The price?   About 250 dollars.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
