A little computer for your big screen: Shuttle XPC Nano

Boot Camp feature for Wednesday, January 20, 2016

A little computer designed for your big screen.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.    TV makers have been building apps into TVs for a while to let you stream video and more.   But if you want the option of a full fledged computer, Shuttle Computer is making it easy.   It’s been making small computers for fifteen years…and the company’s new XPC Nano can be configured with Windows 10 and even 4K Ultra HD capability.   And, says Shuttle’s Marty Lash, it’s expandable…

“On the bottom of the Nano there’s an interface slot that plugs into another device which either allows you to use a Radeon, an AMD Radeon card or more connectivity if somebody needs extra serial or USB ports.”

Shuttle’s impressive XPC Nano series starts at under 280 dollars.   It can be hidden behind that big TV very easily too.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
