HP Spectre 13 remarkably thin and light

Boot Camp feature for Friday, April 29, 2016

Is your computer ready for beach season?   HP’s new Spectre 13 is remarkably thin and light.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.   It is skinnier than Apple’s MacBook Air.   In fact it is thinner than any other notebook on the market.   But the HP Spectre doesn’t skimp on power.   Product manager Bonnie Jiang….

“It comes with actually Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processors which is really impressive for something in such a small form factor.  It has 8 gigs of RAM and then either 256 gigabytes of SSD storage or 512 gigabytes.  The screen is non touch but it is full HD, so a 1080p screen, perfect for watching movies.”

The design and hinges are beautifully engineered.   There are three USB Type C ports…any of which can be used to power it.    The new HP Spectre…is available for pre order starting this week for under 12 hundred dollars.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
