Another new gadget to help monitor your heart health. I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. A company called MocaCare is out with a small Bluetooth connected heart health tracker called MOCAHeart. You hold it in one hand with one finger over a sensor window and says COO and Co-Founder Naama Stauber….
“It takes about 25 seconds. It uses EKG and PPG sensors. And it takes readings that give you together three vitals that give you a more holistic view of your heart health. So what we’re reading is your heart rate, your blood oxygen level and a reading of your blood velocity that is correlated to your blood pressure.”
MOCAheart is made of medical grade stainless steel. It works with apps on iOS and Android….and even allows you to share the data securely with your doctor. You can find it at MOCACare.com for 129 dollars. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
