High tech gear for baby. I’m Fred Fishkin with BootCamp, your Techstination for gadgets and gear. For many new parents…installing an infant car seat correctly can be a pretty big challenge. A company called 4Moms, that’s with the numeral 4, has developed a self installing car seat due to arrive in September. Brand engagement manager Amie Ley….
“Four out of five car seats are actually installed incorrectly, that is a staggering number. And so using robotics and technology, we’ve actually created a car seat that installs itself and helps parents kind of take that worry that they’re doing it wrong. So we’re telling you you’re doing it right throughout the process. So the base here talks to the app and the app talks to the base and both of them walk you through the entire installation process. So there’s audio and visual cues.”
The tech isn’t cheap…the car seat will sell for about five hundred dollars. There are other baby tech products too at 4Moms.com. You can find us at BootCamp.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
