"Their ideas can be anything from art appreciation... they can be using technology as an artistic medium, they can be creating communities... .really the sky's the limit. It can be something that the judges or everyone else in the world has never seen. They will be judged, and they will keep that in mind, on how unique their idea is, on how well it marries art and technology, as well as its financial sustainability. They'll have to prove that and show how their model, once they receive the fifty thousand dollars, can grow." Why focus on art and technology?
"There's no question that in the art world, it's bringing dramatic possibilities in terms of the kinds of ways of distributing art, of talking about art, of bringing people together, organizing information. The contest is open to United States citizens... ..and the deadline is November 30th. You can find more information on the Web at Absolutangel.com Bootcamp, I'm Fred Fishkin, Bloomberg News.
