An all in one package to keep the PC running smoothly. I'm Fred Fishkin with Bootcamp, a report on computers and technology. One of the facts of life about using computers is that things do go wrong. It happens to the best of machines and the problems can be little or very big. Symantec has released a suite of programs it calls Norton SystemWorks. Norton Utilities has been around as a best seller for years. Symantec's Sarah Hicks...

"With Norton Utilities we really pioneered the integrated suite idea. But going beyond problem solving, which is where Norton Utilities has really had it's strength, we include anti-virus solutions and the software updating as well as crash protection."

. Norton CrashGuard protects against system crashes and screen fixes. And Norton Web Services gives you easy access to the latest virus definitions, hardware drivers, and software updates. There's a six month subscription included with the purchase. Symantec had included an un-install utility as well... but was forced to remove it after losing a copyright infringement case. Nevertheless, The whole package sells for under a hundred dollars. Separately, the programs would sell for considerably more...
